STATEMENT OF TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

I find teaching as a very important mission of creating new generations of artists, musicians, teachers and simply human-beings. I believe teaching piano is not only about setting the technique, building up the repertoire, fixing all the problems and preparing for stage performances and competitions. I believe this is also, most of all, bringing young students up to be good human-beings.

I had a pleasure to work with many world-class pianists-teachers from all over the world, experiencing many different systems of schooling. In my class I try to focus on performance practice, organizing many class-concerts of all the students. Being Polish I also feel competent to hand down the spirit of Chopin’s music and the Polish tradition of performing his works.

I highly value professionalism, punctuality and a true passion towards the music.
