Standing ovations

Grzegorz Niemczuk received a standing ovation after his Chopin's Recital in Castle Museum in Pszczyna, Poland on the February 16th. The hall was packed to capacity as the concert had been sold out in just one day. Grzegorz performed Chopin's Nocturno Op. 9 No. 3, 3 Etudes from Op. 10, Polonaise-Fantasy, Scherzo No.2 , Mazurkas Op. 33 and 3rd Sonata.


Grzegorz Niemczuk won '2013 Carnegie Hall Concerto Debut Competition' in New York. On the 25th of February, 7.30pm he will perform Chopin 2nd Piano Concerto in Carnegie Hall with New York Concerti Sinfonietta under the baton of Paul Hostetter.

Boesendorfer Competition

Grzegorz Niemczuk - a semifinalist of the 6th Boesendorfer Piano Competition in Tempe, Arizona. 8 pianists (out of 146 who applied) reached the semi-final round. The jury consisted of Martha Argerich, Choong-Mo Kang, Baruch Meir, Sergey Babayan, Robert Hamilton and Yanina Kudlik.
